Coco Chanel made the Hotel Ritz in Paris her home for 37 years. She lived in the three-room suite overlooking the Place Vendôme. This suite is called Coco Chanel Suite even today, and it costs $4,300 per night.

The famous canvas bearing the Louis Vuitton logo, the LV letters, was created in 1896 by Louis Vuitton's son, George. It was created to prevent the copying of Vuitton patterns (since counterfeiting had already begun by that time), and came to be called the "Monogram Canvas".

The Gucci brand is considered one of the most frequently mentioned brands. According to Billboard Top 20 for 2004 the brand was mentioned in 49 songs, ranking fifth after the Rolls-Royce and before Jaguar automobiles.

The modern Hermès scarf is a 45x45 cm square; it weighs 65 grams. All Hermès scarves are woven from the silk of 250 mulberry moth cocoons and hand-printed, their hems are all hand-stitched. Since 1937, Hermès has produced over 25,000 unique designs.

The 1998 Calvin Klein e-mail ad campaign for cKone perfume featured e-mail addresses in print advertisements (such as anna@ckone.com or nick@ckone.com). After mailing these addresses the senders received the letters from the model that read like a letter to an old friend. The mails were supposed to give readers the feeling that they had some connection with the characters from the cKone ad prints. The mailing lists were discontinued in 2002.
